Job summary

Securiguard Services Limited seeks an energetic Security Site Supervisor for a high-profile commercial tower in Downtown Edmonton. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with a pay rate of $27 per hour.

You will lead a security team, coordinate operations, and ensure safety standards are met. Key duties include monitoring security systems, scheduling staff, training new employees, and maintaining daily reports.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Worker License is required.
• 2 years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or Site Manager capacity.
• 5+ years of experience in the security industry.
• Occupational First Aid.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team.
• Strong communicator with empathy and listening mindset.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Post secondary education in law enforcement or security is an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Full-time availability with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Providing first aid, CPR and AED when required.
• Ensuring security/emergency systems are functioning and reporting deficiencies and scheduling maintenance/repairs as needed.
• Managing access requests and ensuring SOP adherence.
• Monitoring CCTV and ensuring cameras are accounted for daily.
• Ensuring guards are trained, qualified, and uniformed.
• Participating in Occupational Health & Safety meetings.
• Overseeing operations to enforce site policies and achieve departmental goals.
• Scheduling and managing staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinating training programs and onboarding for new employees.
• Monitoring employee performance to identify areas for improvement and development.
• Fostering employee engagement to create a positive and productive work environment.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Security Site Supervisor for a high-profile commercial tower site in Edmonton.

Location: Downtown Edmonton

Type: Full Time

Schedule: Mon to Fri 8 am to 4 pm

Pay rate: $27/hr

The day-to-day

• Providing first aid, CPR and AED when required
• Ensuring all security/emergency systems are functioning (i.e. alarms, camera, door access), providing daily reports of deficiencies and scheduling maintenance/repairs as needed.
• Managing Access requests and ensuring the Standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
• Monitoring CCTV for all sites and ensuring all cameras are accounted for daily.
• Ensuring guards are properly trained, qualified, uniformed.
• Be an active participant in Occupational Health & Safety meetings.
• Oversee operational functions to enforce site policies, enhance team performance, and achieve departmental goals.
• Schedule and manage staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate training programs and onboarding processes for new employees.
• Monitor employee performance to identify areas for improvement and development.
• Foster employee engagement to create a positive and productive work environment

Here's What You Need
