Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Site Supervisor for a Commercial/Retail facility in Downtown Toronto. This leadership role oversees a multi-property site, leading a team to deliver exceptional security and customer service for tenants and visitors.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory security experience, a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, and First Aid/CPR certification. Competitive pay, standard daytime schedule, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably in a commercial property environment.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service.
• Ability to lead by example and develop a high‑performing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the security team.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to meet staffing requirements.
• Foster positive employee relations through communication and performance management.
• Coach and develop team members for continuous improvement.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews.
• Build relationships with client, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with proper documentation.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of security personnel.
• Complete incident and operational reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate:$28.00-$29.50/hour

Schedule: 0800 -1600 Monday to Friday, with flexibility for additional hours

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of all direct and indirect reports;
• Understands property management and property security and life safety needs;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google products;
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal,provincialand municipal legislation and regulationsin the area ofsecurity and life safety management; and
• Sound knowledge of industry techniques and emergent trends in security and life safety management.
• Budget and Administration:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the security industry, preferably in a commercialpropertyenvironment.
• Demonstrated experience in employee scheduling and workforce management.
• Strong background in employee relations, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to lead by example while motivating and developing a high-performing team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and scheduling or workforce management software.
• Valid Ontario Security GuardLicence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR.
