The Security Site Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing four post-secondary campuses in the Fraser Valley. This position requires a high-energy individual who can multitask and effectively lead and mentor a team of 15+ security professionals. The successful applicant must lead by example and set a high standard of service for both customers and clients.

Job Duties
- Patrols as needed
- Delegate access and service requests to staff, conduct them yourself if needed
- Respond to first aid or other incidents
- Act as Incident Commander during significant incidents unless relieved by higher authority
- Review reports with shift supervisors
- Escalate significant issues to the client
- Ensure spelling, grammar, and other issues are corrected prior to client review and coach staff on shortcomings
- Confirm SOPs are followed during incident response; train staff if needed
- Meet with internal managers to review reports, incidents, upcoming events, and other issues
- Be available and visible to provide top-quality customer service to all campus community members
- Train and mentor officers on site duties, protocols, conduct, reporting procedures, and policies
- Conduct investigations into thefts, harassment, assaults, or other incidents in coordination with security management
- Be on call for site emergencies at all campus locations
- Review schedules with the head office scheduler and assist as needed
- Coordinate with the recruiter on staffing needs and participate in interviews and training
- Discuss service levels with the operations manager; address recognition, coaching, training, or disciplinary needs
- Conduct Health and Safety Audits, Toolbox Talks, and Site Hazard Assessments with supervisors
- Audit first aid and emergency equipment, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems with supervisors
- Participate in service review meetings, addressing client concerns
- Review staffing needs and overtime with management and scheduler
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma, College Diploma, or certificate (asset)
- Minimum 3+ years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or Manager role
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the security industry
- Valid Security Worker License
- OFA II or III certification
- ICS Level 300 training (provided to the right candidate)
- Strong communication, assertiveness, interpersonal skills, and team orientation
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
- Supervision, decision-making, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or Filipino is an asset
