Job summary

Johnson Controls Vancouver is seeking a Security Service Technician to install, commission, and service advanced access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems. You will collaborate with customers and field teams to program and troubleshoot complex deployments with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a BC Security TQ licence, strong IT/network skills, and hands-on experience with security platforms such as C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, Lenel/S2.

Qualifications

• BC Security TQ licence required.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Server, and MS Office; IT network basics.
• Experience with security systems installation/servicing (C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, Lenel/S2).
• Technical degree in electronics or computers preferred.

The Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, integration, commissioning, and servicing of advanced security systems, including access control systems, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and intercom systems. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.00-$41.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
