Job Summary
- Conduct security interviews and assessments to grant security clearances for CSIS applicants and contractors in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Prepare and conduct rigorous interviews with references to shed light on elements that may raise security concerns, supporting security assessments for CSIS.
- Research, analyze, assess, and corroborate relevant information. Collaborate with the appropriate CSIS section, especially when linked to active investigations, during interview preparation and conduct.
- Follow relevant CSIS and Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) policies and guidelines.
- Prepare precise, complete, and concise interview reports in a timely manner, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
Education
- Undergraduate degree with two (2) years of experience*
- College diploma with four (4) years of experience*
- High school diploma with seven (7) years of experience*
Educational programs must be from an accredited Canadian institution. For programs completed outside Canada, proof of Canadian equivalency from a recognized credential assessment service is required. Higher education levels (e.g., Masters, Doctorate) in related fields may be recognized as experience.

Conditions of Employment
- Occasional interviews outside core hours and off-site.
- Valid and permanent Canadian driver’s license (G Class Ontario or minimum Class 5 elsewhere). Learner’s licenses are not accepted.

Security Requirements
Eligibility for an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance, involving interviews, polygraph, and background checks. No illegal drug use from application submission onward.
