Job description

This role reports to the Head of Investigation, Claim, and involves implementing field checks with clients' families or neighbors to verify information, checking document requirements, preparing pending, payment, or declined letters, and following up on the progress of implementation.

Responsibilities

  1. Check document requirements, prepare pending, payment, or declined letters, and follow up on the implementation progress.
  2. Contact doctors, hospitals, or other organizations to verify information for claim decisions.
  3. Conduct field checks with clients' families or neighbors to verify information.
  4. Update investigated information in the system and claim files.
  5. Settle minor claims within authority limits.

  • Report to the Head of Investigation, Claim.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Law, Medicine, or Police.

  • Strong negotiation skills for liaising with solicitors and negotiating payments.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance law.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for investigations in various provinces.
