Job summary

Project Management Institute - Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT and security projects in a governance-driven environment.

You will partner with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to set goals, define deliverables, and ensure successful outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget. A PMP certification is required; ITIL/PRINCE2/CISSP are assets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 7 years managing complex IT projects.
• PMP certification is required; ITIL/PRINCE2/CISSP are assets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Pay Range: CAD 65-70/hr

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 7 years managing complex IT projects.
• Proven experience across multiple domains such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, and IT operations.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
• PMP certification (or equivalent) required; additional certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or CISSP are an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
• Experience working within regulated or utility environments considered an asset.
