Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Professional - Part time for a high-rise residential building in Downtown Toronto. You will combine concierge duties with security responsibilities, welcoming residents and visitors while maintaining safety and property standards.

The ideal candidate has residential concierge or security experience, strong communication, and a professional approach when interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of concierge or residential security experience.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems.
• Manage property access and respond to security concerns and service calls.
• Enforce site policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management or emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and daily documentation.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns.

Location: Downtown Toronto (College St & Bay St)

Position: Part -Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 per hour

# of Vacancies: 1

Schedule: Overnights

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8pm to 6am

The Opportunity

Allied Universal is looking for professional and customer-focused Security Professional - Part time - High Rise - Residential - Downtown to join our residential security team in Downtown Toronto.

This role combines concierge service and security responsibilities, providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors while helping maintain a safe and secure property.

The ideal candidate has residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach to interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.


• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 year of concierge experience, preferably in a residential environment.


• Previous concierge security or residential security experience is an asset.


• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.


• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.


• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Basic computer and wireless communication skills.


• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.


• Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.


• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
