Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) to work remotely on an hourly contract. Bring 2+ years in SOC, IR, or security operations to analyze SOC scenarios, assess incidents, and improve AI-driven detection and response.

You will validate AI outputs against human triage practices and contribute expert feedback to enhance model accuracy. The role emphasizes independent, asynchronous work with flexible hours (10–40 per week) and ongoing collaboration with AI researchers

Qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
  • Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and end-to-end investigation workflows
  • Strong ability to separate true positives from false positives and articulate your reasoning clearly
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to analysis
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required - your security expertise is what matters

Responsibilities

  • Classify severity levels, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions

What You'll Do
