Responsibilities include leading the JHSC, coordinating security resources, managing budgets, and overseeing incident reporting and emergency planning. Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years working in a commercial real estate security environment.
• Minimum of 7 years security management experience in large, complex properties.
• Diploma in Security/Life Safety or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the security and life safety program, allocating resources and scheduling duties.
• Lead fire and life safety program and OH&S compliance.
• Chair Joint Health & Safety Committee and promote safety across the workplace.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments in common and tenant areas.
• Oversee emergency response, ERP, BCP, and fire evacuation plans.
• Manage security incidents reporting and data analysis.
• Operate and maintain electronic security systems per guidelines.
• Maintain access control and physical security measures.
• Respond to security incidents and perform additional duties as assigned.
