Job summary

GardaWorld in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a part-time daytime schedule. You will monitor security systems, patrol premises, and control access while documenting incidents and maintaining detailed reports. This role requires Canadian work authorization, a valid Ontario security license, and First Aid/CPR Level C.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• Must have WSIB approved First Aid and CPR Level C.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
