Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard – Residential Condominium for a Downtown Toronto site. The role requires overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM) and a focus on professional security, resident relations, and patrol duties.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of Residential Concierge Security experience, Ontario Security License, First Aid/CPR, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year Residential Concierge Security experience.
• Ontario Security License is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Able to work overnight shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors and staff.
• Maintain professional security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Address and resolve resident complaints to ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents and equipment issues.
• Support property management with additional tasks as required.

Overview

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard– Residential Condominium to oversee one of our residential sites in Downtown Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, customer service, willing to work overnightshifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential concierge security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year Residential Concierge Security experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
