Pay rate is $17.96 per hour, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 4:00PM to 11:00PM. The ideal candidate brings 6–12 months security experience, a valid Ontario Security License, and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work with a professional security

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, irregularities, and equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude toward training and security protocols, including emergency response.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Support property management with additional tasks as required.

Job Overview

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard Residential to oversee one of our residential sites in North York, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements

• 6-12 months Security Guard experience
• Valid Driver's License is an asset.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and customer service
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
