Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard-Patient Watch in Cornwall, ON. You will monitor access, patrol the site, and respond to incidents, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of security experience, a valid Provincial Security License, and the ability to work 40 hours per week. Fluency in English and basic MS Office skills are required.

Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Cornwall Canada.

Security Professionals play a vital role at Allied Universal Security Services. They are essential to achieving our company’s core mission: “To serve and secure the people and businesses of our community.” Our guards are entrusted with ensuring the safety and security of the facilities they are assigned to protect.

Throughout their shifts, Security Professionals handle a variety of responsibilities. These may include patrolling the facility either on foot or by vehicle, managing the entrance by answering phones, greeting guests and employees, and monitoring closed-circuit television systems, alarms, and other critical systems.

Our officers serve as a visible deterrent to crime and rule violations, detect suspicious activities, and remain vigilant for potential criminal actions or breaches of client rules that could pose a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees on site.

Job Title:Security Guard-Patient Watch

Job Location: Cornwall , ON

Job Type: Part-time

Shift Type: Monday to sunday

Pay Rate: $20.76

Shift type: days, evening overnigh and swing

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring that only authorized persons can enter.

Qualifications:

• Computer skills required: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reports and documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent work experience.
• Must possess a valid Provincial Security License
• First aid certificate required
• Provide documents that confirm you can work 40 hours per week in Canada.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be immunized in all of the following or willing to be..

• Mantoux test (tuberculosis)
• Measles (proof of vaccination or serology)

• Chicken Pox Varicelle (proof of vaccination or serology)
• Covid vaccinations
• Highly recommended: - Hepatitis B and Flu Vaccination

Driving Positions:

• Valid full driver's license (for driving positions)
• Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes
• Obtain a clean driver abstract
