Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Brantford, Ontario for a part-time role. The position offers a pay rate of $19.43 per hour with Friday and Saturday night shifts from 11pm to 11am.

Qualified candidates will have familiarity with access control, CCTV, reporting, and strong customer service. Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and minimum 1 year patrolling experience are required; you must be 18+ and eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a professional, customer-friendly image.
• Manage conflicts and incidents, de-escalate when needed.
• Patrolling per post orders, indoors or outdoors.
• Follow safety procedures for fire alarms and emergencies.
• Site-specific training; follow supervisor directions.
• Document observations; detailed report writing.
• Operate security room equipment including CCTV and radios.
• Vehicle patrols as required.

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Brantford , Ontario.

Job Title: Security Guard - Part-Time Position

Job Location: Brantford , ON

Pay Rate: $19.43 per hour

Shifts: Fridays and Saturdays | 11pm to 11am | Night Shifts

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
