Commissionaires BC is seeking security guards to join our casual on-call Reserves Division in Mission. Availability Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30, with shifts varying by site and location. You will patrol sites, monitor CCTV, escort individuals, verify passes, and maintain detailed logs.

Strong communication, reliability, and problem solving are essential; a BC Security License and OFA 1 are mandatory. We offer growth opportunities, on-site training, and free uniforms with a long-standing

Qualifications

• Must hold a BC Security License.
• OFA 1 certification required.
• Residence in Canada 5+ years for clearance purposes.
• Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Escort individuals to and from uncontrolled areas.
• Verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & Stolen list before entering restricted/sterile areas.
• Notify the correct parties when entering/leaving the facility and maintain visual contact while escorting workers.
• Patrol various sites and locations.
• Provide first-class customer service to clients and the public.
• Monitor CCTV systems.
• Respond proactively to emergencies and conflicts.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and incident reports.
• Escalate issues to the Site Supervisor as needed.

• Shifts will vary in times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.

Pay rate:will vary per site

Your Must-Haves:

• BC Security License
• Hold OFA 1
• Lived in Canada for 5+ yearsfor clearance purposes
• Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
• Excellent communication skills

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Escort individualsto and fromUncontrolled Areas
• Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
• Notify thecorrect partieswhen entering the facility and when leavingEnsure that Visual Contact is maintained while escortingconstruction workersusing Temporary Passes
• Patrolling various sites/locations
• Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
• CCTV Monitoring
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
