Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Guard - Residential - Concierge to join our Mississauga team. You will provide concierge services and security presence for residents and visitors, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in concierge or security, valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, First Aid & CPR, and flexibility to work overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and benefits are provided by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of concierge experience, preferably in a residential environment.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems.
• Manage property access and respond to security concerns and service calls.
• Enforce site policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management or emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and daily documentation.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns.

Security Guard - Full time - Residential - Concierge

Location: Mississauga, ON (near Square One Mall)

Position:Full -Time

Pay Rate: $18.70 per hour

Schedule: Overnights

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9pm to 5am
• Saturday, 9pm to 9am

This role combines concierge service and security responsibilities, providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors while helping maintain a safe and secure property.

The ideal candidate has residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach to interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.

What You’ll Do

• Basic computer and wireless communication skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
