Paladin Security is seeking experienced Security Officers for a high rise office tower in downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be available for overnight shifts , though schedules may vary so open availability is preferred.

As a member of the Paladin Security team, you will receive best-in-class training, earn competitive pay rates ( $21.00/hr at this job site), and gain invaluable experience for your career!

In this role you will be:
• Providing exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients, tenants, and patrons
• Writing clear and detailed reports including incident, first aid, and daily reports
• Watching for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations and contact emergency responders
• Providing first aid and medical response
• Performing regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building and equipment security
• Utilizing two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Exercising crowd control and evicting trespassers
• Granting or denying access to the facility based on established procedures
What you will need:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid BC Security License
• Strong observational skills
• Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk up to 20km per shift, up and down stairs, or over uneven ground, indoors and outdoors
• Exceptional professional deportment
• Legal ability to work in Canada
