GardaWorld is seeking a Security Guard for a camp site in Grand Falls-Windsor. The role involves maintaining camp safety, patrolling, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents. You will support mining and exploration activities and provide professional service to employees and visitors.

The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, uniform provided, and on-site meals and accommodations. A two weeks on/two weeks off rotation is planned, with a competitive hourly wage and mandated safety

Formación

• Previous security experience is mandatory.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Drug and Alcohol Test required.

As a Security Guard, your responsibilities may vary depending on the daily requirements of the site. Responsibilities for Security Guard

• Maintain camp safety and follow all site safety rules and procedures
• Support daily mining and exploration activities
• Conduct regular security patrols and site checks
• Monitor camp areas and report any safety or security concerns
• Conduct traffic checks and vehicle searches as required
• Maintain accurate security records and documentation
• Keep camp areas clean and organized
• Report hazards, incidents, and other concerns immediately
• Provide professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
• Respond appropriately to changing situations and emergencies

Qualifications for Security Guard

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Previous security experience is mandatory
• Valid First Aid certification
• Valid Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
• Successful completion of a Drug and Alcohol Test
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Mining, exploration, or remote-site experience is considered an asset
