Securitas Canada is seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across client sites throughout the Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, Niagara Falls, Brantford and Milton areas. Our guards monitor property, control access, CCTV and reports, respond to incidents, and deliver professional customer service to employees and the public.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete written reports accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Experience is an asset; strong customer-service background encouraged for less experienced roles.
• Open availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekends; own vehicle with G2 or G licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property.
• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections.
• Enforce client and site-specific security policies.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Contact emergency services when required.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
