Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Corporate - Overnight for a Mississauga, ON corporate site. You will perform site surveillance, enforce access control, respond to emergencies and maintain comprehensive shift logs through a 19:00–07:00 schedule.

The role requires 1–2 years of corporate security experience, a valid Ontario Security License, First Aid/CPR, and excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency with computers is expected in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years corporate security experience.
• Ontario Security License required.
• Must be 18+ for insurance purposes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computers; willing to work holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Regular patrols and monitor entry points.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at posts near sensitive areas.
• Access Control: Verify IDs, log visitors, secure gates/doors.
• Communication: Radio communication with security team; report incidents.
• Emergency Response: Respond to medical, fire, or security incidents.
• Incident Documentation: Keep logs and handover notes for shifts.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft and damage, secure property.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Use PPE and follow safety policies.
• General Security Duties: Maintain overall site safety and security.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Shifts: Sunday - Saturday; 19:00 - 07:00 Continental Rotation

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Guard - Corporate - Overnightto support security operations at a Corporate Site in Mississauga, ON. The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24/7.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol:Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage:Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control:Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication:Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response:Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation:Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection:Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures:Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties:Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years Corporate Experience
• Must have a validOntario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
• Must have great written and Oral communication skills
• Must have great Knowledge of using computer, Willing to work if needed on holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
