Allied Universal in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join the Security Operations team at a construction site. The role involves protecting assets, controlling access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and logging daily activities.

Full-time, 70 00–1500 shifts, 16.50 CAD/hour, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, a Manitoba security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

Allied Universal is seeking professional and highly motivated Security Guardto join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at a Construction site.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced operational environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional security services. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting valuable equipment, materials, and unfinished structures from theft, vandalism, and trespassing. Their core duties involve controlling site access, conducting routine perimeter patrols, monitoring digital surveillance systems, checking for safety or fire hazards, and documenting daily activity logs.

Position Details:

Title: Security Guard

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shifts: 0700-1500

Key Responsibilities:

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
