Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a professional and highly motivated Security Guard to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, MB. This casual position focuses on controlling site access, patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and maintaining daily logs to support safety.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends, in an outdoor environment. A Manitoba security guard license and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Must hold Manitoba security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 30 hours per week or more.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED.
• Proficient using computer.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

The successful candidate core duties include controlling site access, conducting routine perimeter patrols, monitoring digital surveillance systems, checking for safety or fire hazards, and documenting daily activity logs.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Casual

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Various Shifts; Monday through Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Access control for the facility/area
