Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Full Time in Beaverton, Ontario to provide constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence at the client's site.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, maintaining security presence, threat assessment, and effective communication. Must hold Ontario Security License, be 18+, and eligible to work 40 hours weekly; First Aid/CPR and MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Ontario Security License
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED
• Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client sites
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR

Responsibilities

• Document and report incidents accurately with relevant details.
• Maintain a visible security presence at the client site to deter theft or disruption.
• Evaluate situations to determine risk level and recommend appropriate responses.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff by providing directions and safety-related information.
• Act swiftly in emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections and other documentation for compliance.

• Maintain a visible security presence:Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.
• Threat Assessment:Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
• Professional Communication:Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff : By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.
• Emergency Response:Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
