JTF Security Group is seeking on-call/casual Security Guards in the Comox Valley area to support events, patrols and client sites. This part-time, casual role offers flexible shifts and requires reliability and strong interpersonal skills.

We require weekend availability, a valid BC Security Workers License, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. This position provides opportunities to work with a dedicated team offering 24/7 operational support to keep people and property safe.

We offer a variety of security guard services, ranging from festivals and special events, loss prevention, community outreach, asset protection, and much more. We provide 24/7 operational support to all of our field staff while on shift – the safety of our team members is our top priority.

JTF Security is accepting applications for on-call/casual Security Guards within the Comox Valley area!

We are looking to fill these positions with passionate and reliable security guards that possess the following abilities:

• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to maintain positive client and public relations
• Can work independently or as a member of a team
• Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Basic experience with report writing
• Amazing interpersonal and communication skills
• Please note that candidates must have weekend availability to be considered for employment.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid BC Security Workers License

All JTF Security Guards are required to hold a valid British Columbia Security License, have access to a smartphone with data while on shift, and be capable of standing or walking for extended periods of time (when required).
