Red Deer Polytechnic is seeking a seasoned Security Services leader to guide policy, risk assessment, and incident response across campus. You will supervise a security team, develop training, and coordinate with police, fire, and EMS to ensure student and staff safety.

You will implement business continuity and emergency management programs, oversee contracts, audit compliance, and lead investigations into security incidents, reporting findings to senior leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year undergraduate degree in related discipline (e.g., security management, law enforcement, business).
• CPP certification and a licensed security service license required.
• Over 5 years managing a security services function or related field.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills; crisis management ability.
• Experience with emergency management systems and incident response.

• Develops, administers, and enforces policies related to safety, security, and business continuity.
• Oversees security contracts, KPIs, and contract compliance to meet community expectations.
• Conducts risk assessments and scene management during emergencies.
• Leads investigations into security incidents and reports findings with recommendations.
• Coordinates training for Security Services staff and supports special events.
