Microsoft is seeking a sales professional with extensive experience in technology sales. This role focuses on driving digital transformation through collaboration with partners and understanding customer needs. Successful candidates will have a strong background in security solutions and account management, contributing to transformative business strategies in a dynamic environment.
Sales Execution - Engages in conversations with customers to introduce how workloads could enable digital transformation in line with the customer's industry. Has a basic understanding of customers' business to initiate conversations on digital transformation, collaborating with partners and services. Shares knowledge through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.
Collaborates with team members to discover new opportunities, driving revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources. Works with account teams, partners, and services to track, qualify, and expand opportunities, building pipelines and relationships via social selling. Applies Microsoft's sales process (MSP) to evaluate opportunities.
Identifies opportunities to increase consumption and grow business with existing customers by initiating conversations, demos, quotes, and collaborating with internal teams and partners. Ensures rapid deployment plans are validated by services and partners, and removes blockers to consumption by partnering with stakeholders.
Assesses customer needs and technical readiness, proposing solutions that align with their requirements and communicating the business impact of these solutions. Understands external stakeholder mapping, including decision makers and influencers, and participates in communication with business decision makers.
Implements strategies to accelerate deal closing, including close plans that map timelines, engagement, and commitments to reduce risks and ensure predictable closures.
Works with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and a network of partners to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell. Identifies new partners, develops joint proposals, and implements partner strategies to scale the business.
Supports deal closure through internal stakeholder alignment and partner relationships, leveraging the orchestration model. Researches competitors and collaborates with global black belts to position Microsoft effectively.
Leverages customer insights and industry knowledge, contributing to business exploration and portfolio optimization. Ensures customer/partner satisfaction through feedback and recovery plans. Manages sales and delivery success, collaborates on business analysis, forecasts, and territory planning.
