Job summary

Google Ads is seeking a Share Security Developer for the Ads Safety team in Waterloo, ON. You will address complex abuse-related challenges, build scalable ML-driven solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect the ecosystem for advertisers and users.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS or related field and at least two years of software development experience in general-purpose languages, with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in at least one general purpose language.

Responsibilities

• Address complex problems in abuse fighting.
• Work with the team to develop solutions to classify and understand actors and their assets, including destinations in Google Ads, using machine learning techniques.
• Partner with teams to deliver solutions to detect and stop bad actors from re-entering Google Ads, and to reduce friction for good actors.
