Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Concierge in Markham, ON for a full-time swing rotation. The role combines concierge service and security duties to welcome residents and visitors while maintaining safety on the property.

The candidate should have residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach. Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of concierge experience, preferably in a residential environment.
• Previous concierge security or residential security experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid & CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems.
• Manage property access and respond to security concerns and service calls.
• Enforce site policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management or emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and daily documentation.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns.

Security Concierge - Full time - Swing Rotation

Location: Hwy 7 & Bullock Drive (Markham, ON)

Position: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 per hour

Schedule:

• Sunday 11am-11pm, Monday 3pm-11pm, Thursday 11pm-7am, Friday 11pm-11am

The ideal candidate has residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach to interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 year of concierge experience, preferably in a residential environment.
• Previous concierge security or residential security experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and wireless communication skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
