Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a Security Agent to protect employees and property at our Chambly and Saint-Hubert sites. The role runs 12 AM–8 AM for 16 hours per week, with uniform provisions and opportunities for growth.

You will monitor, patrol, and respond to security events while maintaining strict safety standards. Ideal candidates hold a BSP licence, First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s licence with minimal demerit points.

Formación

• Hold a valid Private Security Bureau (BSP) licence.
• Hold a valid First Aid certification for workplace first responders.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than three demerit points.
• Ability to react quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including observation, self-control and teamwork.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset; English proficiency is required for US/outside Quebec customers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide coverage in Chambly and Saint-Hubert locations.
• Detect, monitor, and report potential security threats and notify Security Manager.
• Maintain surveillance of premises using cameras and alarms; respond to alerts.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside facilities, by foot or vehicle.
• Respond to emergencies (theft, intrusion, fire) and assist with evacuations/first aid.
• Coordinate with emergency services and first responders.
• Apply health and safety policies to promote prevention.
• Resolve conflicts with management.
• Control access and greet visitors and suppliers.
• Write clear incident reports documenting events.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief of Security, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Techo-Bloc’s employees and property, working alongside a team of dynamic and motivated agents. Our ideal candidate is discreet, courteous, and serves as a role model in applying company policies.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage in both ourChambly and Saint-Hubert locations;
• Act proactively to detect, monitor, and report any potential security threats—dangerous situations, suspicious behavior, or other concerns—promptly notifying the Security Manager;
• Maintain continuous surveillance of the premises using the camera system and alarms (intrusion, fire), and respond quickly to any alerts;
• Conduct regular patrolsinside and outside the facilities, on foot or by vehicle, in accordance with established protocols;
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations (theft, intrusion, altercation, fire, etc.), including physical interventions when necessary (evacuations, first aid);
• Communicate with emergency services as needed and work collaboratively with first responders;
• Apply occupational health and safety policies and procedures to promote a strong prevention culture;
• Resolve conflicts in collaboration with management;
• Control access to the premises, including greeting visitors, suppliers, and other individuals;
• Write clear and detailed incident reports to document events and preserve evidence;
• Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Private Security Bureau (BSP) licence;
• Hold a valid First Aid certification for workplace first responders;
• Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than three demerit points;
• Ability to react quickly and effectively in emergency situations;
• Ability to kneel, crouch, move quickly, and use safety equipment;Strong analytical, judgment, crisis management, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong observation skills, self-control, and teamwork;
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset. English proficiency is required to serve customers based in the United States and outside Quebec.
