Confidential Toronto-based law practice seeks an experienced securities lawyer at the partner level to continue growing their client base. The role targets a lawyer with an established capital markets or securities regulatory practice who can lead and mentor others.

You will advise issuers on securities matters, oversee transactions, and interact with regulators to ensure compliance and success for clients. This is a senior, leadership-focused opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Called to the Ontario Bar in good standing.
  • 8–10+ years of securities/capital markets experience.
  • Familiarity with OSC and CSA regimes.
  • Track record in client origination and relationship management.
  • Strong drafting and regulatory advocacy skills.

  • Strong technical drafting and regulatory advocacy skills
