An educational institution in Ontario is seeking a Permanent Secondary Teacher to teach various Technology subjects, including Basic and Advanced Tech courses. The successful candidate will be compliant with the OSSTF Collective Agreement and hold an OCT in good standing. Although considered a permanent position, all positions are subject to the annual staffing process as per outlined in the OSSTF Collective Agreement. A Teacher cannot hold more than 1.0 FTE in a semester.

In assessing whether to offer mutual consent for any sections to an unqualified teacher, a Principal shall consider each teacher individually and in order of seniority and shall consider the following criteria:
"Professional Learning Standards" includes, but not limited to, academic programs, professional networks, professional contributions, and professional activities sustained.
"Related Experience" includes professional learning gained or acquired from other areas or domains.

The UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors. If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity, list the length of time you worked for that supervisor and the assignment type.
Placement Teacher References: if providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, the UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference is approved to provide a reference on behalf of the Principal. The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal relationships as references.
Positions are filled in accordance with the OSSTF Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement and/or PPM 165 where applicable. The selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks. All employment offers are conditional on candidates providing a valid criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
