Job summary

Sandhill Winery, part of Andrew Peller Limited in Kelowna, BC, is seeking a Wine Educator & Event Server for a seasonal role from October to December 2026. You will share wine knowledge, lead tastings, and drive sales while delivering engaging guest experiences.

This role requires excellent customer service, the ability to multitask in a lively setting, and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for customer service, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to make wine education accessible and enjoyable.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
• A positive, “Can Do” attitude, especially under pressure.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is preferred.
• Wine knowledge or certifications (e.g., WSET 2/3, ISG/CAPS, CMS) is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential!

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging wine tastings with clear, informative communication.
• Welcome guests and build genuine connections.
• Drive sales through Wine Club memberships, exclusive events, and special experiences.
• Assist with packaging, shipping, and organizing wine purchases to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Engage with guests on social media and encourage referrals through excellent service.
