Job Overview

The Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience within multiple businesses (retail, rental, custom, and Omni-channel) within a store location. To be successful in this role, the Consultant needs to support and positively impact a culture of customer obsession by being customer-ready and delivering a world-class experience each day. The Consultant is expected to engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results. They must navigate change effectively to adapt to new programs and achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the Consultant will contribute to a healthy culture by working well with colleagues at all levels and fostering a positive work environment.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate the benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals, as trained by management and as described in corporate training materials.
• Encourage and participate in team selling.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting to post-sale contact.
• Monitor and positively influence the achievement of store sales goals and metrics. Maintain personal sales volume while ensuring high sales quality.
• Use tailors for all alteration fittings when available; otherwise, accurately fit customers and recommend alterations.
• Assist in receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store according to merchandising standards.
• Assist with visual merchandising, adhering to brand standards.
• Help monitor store security and report damaged or missing products.
• Participate in merchandise stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting store goals and maintaining a respectful, harassment-free workplace.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the shift, frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb ladders; distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00/hr
Salary is determined based on skills, experience, and market location. There may be opportunities to work across multiple store locations and brands.
