Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Canada is seeking a Retail Associate to join our team in-store. You will welcome customers, answer questions, and make product recommendations that align with our brand and values, while delivering a positive shopping experience.

You will support visual merchandising, stockroom organization, and accurate checkout transactions, helping to maintain store standards and contribute to store profitability through attentive service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years or less of experience in a position or specialization.
• Experience operating inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability; engage with consumers to understand their needs.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Perform cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty) accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by managing product flow and replenishment efficiently.
