Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Race & Freestyle to lead day-to-day operations of the Jozo Weider Race and Freestyle programs. This role coordinates with snow school, sales, guest services, operations and marketing to deliver top-tier guest experiences.

The candidate will manage recruitment, training, and reporting, ensuring budgets, schedules and OKRs are met, while fostering staff engagement and program development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in alpine ski racing, coaching and instructing.
• Certified ACA DL or PL coach and CSIA Level II/III/IV.
• Post-secondary education in Commerce/Business or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop race/freestyle programs; recruit and mentor supervisors and coaches.
• Oversee on-hill race/freestyle operations and scheduling.
• Maintain budgets, schedules, and daily reporting.
• Coordinate registrations, waivers, and payments for programs.
• Communicate with staff, racers and parents; share updates.
• Liaise with Alpine Ontario and Freestyle Ontario.
• Align ops with the department's strategic plan and OKRs.
• Monitor expenses and revenues to meet daily targets and adjust as needed.
