Job summary

The Seasonal Maintenance Operator role with The Corporation of The Town of Milton supports winter and general maintenance duties across parks and open spaces. The position runs 40 hours per week on shifts including weekends and overnights, with a contract period from November 2, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in municipal public works or parks, a valid G driver's license, and strong communication and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in municipal public works or parks or related experience.
• Possession of a class “G” Ontario Driver’s license.
• OHSA knowledge and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performs winter park and sidewalk maintenance (salting, sanding, plowing).
• Maintains parks, sidewalks, and open spaces and conducts safety checks.
