Job summary

Inline Nurseries (2010) Inc. is hiring for a seasonal nursery worker in British Columbia. The role is full-time with a 40-hour workweek, paid hourly at CAD 18.25. The position requires on-site work at the nursery with training provided for no prior experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning greenhouses, pruning, weeding, planting bulbs and seeds, repotting, fertilizing, watering, and maintaining tidy work areas. Applicants must be able to lift up to 23 kg and wear safety boots.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Physical work in a nursery setting; ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and work areas.
• Greenhouse cleaning; remove suckers and water sprouts.
• Weeding; assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants.
• Plant bulbs and seeds; pot and re-pot plants; transplant seedlings.
• Apply fertilizers and water plants; tend to lawns and gardens.
• Maintain a clean work area; wear steel-toed boots and gloves.
