Hornblower Group Canada is seeking a General Maintenance crew member for seasonal contract work in Gananoque, Ontario. You will perform painting, repairs, carpentry, and maintenance to keep facilities in excellent condition, with duties spanning preventative, corrective, and cosmetic tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities and maintenance preferred in hospitality environments.
• Must be willing to work all shifts, including days/evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, fixing, repairing, and minor troubleshooting tasks.
• Carry out basic carpentry such as framing, drywall, doors, windows, baseboards and molding.
• Assist with project start-up and close-out; maintain high customer service levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and regulations.
• Operate large equipment as required (forklifts, telehandler).
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and work orders; report hazards and corrective actions.
