Job summary

The City of Quinte West is seeking a Seasonal Marina Attendant to support marina facilities, boaters and Gathering Hall guests. You will greet customers, take reservations, operate the fuel station, and assist with canteen service and events.

The role requires a Grade 12 diploma, a valid G license, and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card. Candidates should be comfortable lifting, using POS systems, and working varied shifts including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Valid G class driver's license with clean record.
• Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg/40 lbs.
• Proficient computer skills: Google Workspace, Word, Excel, Dayforce.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and act as an ambassador.
• Greet customers, take reservations for boaters.
• Operate fuel station duties and pump out services.
• Prepare and serve canteen items; manage cash and POS.
• Setup, operate Gathering Hall events; bartending and serving.
• Clean and maintain marina facilities and washrooms.
• Clean docks, manage waste, assist with grounds maintenance.
• Drive vehicles and transport to storage sites; assist with traffic as needed.
• Work independently and in teams; follow SOPs and safety rules.
