Position: Lifeguard

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant individual to ensure the safety of patrons at our resort. The role involves monitoring swimmers, enforcing pool rules, and responding promptly to emergencies. Strong swimming skills, communication abilities, and composure under pressure are essential.

Shifts:

Weekend and evening shifts required.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas.
2. Identify and address unsafe conditions or behaviors.
3. Monitor swimmers and enforce safety rules.

Emergency Response:

1. Respond quickly to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid.
2. Administer CPR and first aid as needed.

Customer Service:

1. Assist patrons and answer questions.
2. Educate swimmers on safety guidelines.
3. Handle concerns professionally and courteously.

Equipment Maintenance:

1. Ensure safety equipment is in good condition.
2. Report issues to the supervisor.

Documentation:

1. Keep accurate records of attendance and incidents.
2. Submit incident reports promptly.

Qualifications:

• Current lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA).
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Prior lifeguarding experience preferred.
