Essential Responsibilities

1. Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting, etc.
2. Assist with traffic control procedures
3. Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
4. Perform other road maintenance duties as required
5. Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications

1. Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
2. Be able to perform physically demanding tasks
3. Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
4. Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract
5. Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset

Work Conditions

1. Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work
2. As Ledcor Highways Ltd. is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shifts will be required
