Job summary

Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking a Lead Kiosk Associate for the holiday season across multiple kiosks. The role supports staffing, inventory, and guest services, with a focus on selling gift certificates and delivering a seamless guest experience.

You will report to the Marketing Manager and Kiosk Coordinator, coordinating between locations and ensuring high standards of service and operations during a busy period.

Qualifications

• College degree in tourism, hospitality, administration, HR or related experience.
• Experience in customer service or sales is an asset.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach kiosk agents.
• Report back to kiosk coordinator and manager regarding staffing and daily kiosk operations.
• Assist with managing unexpected events and emergencies (finding shift coverage).
• Assist in the management of inventories and orders.
• Act as a resource person for kiosk agents (handling complaints and special requests).
• Follow established scripts to respond to guests’ needs per standards.
• Identify problems and propose solutions.
• Manage the entire sales cycle and close sales with kiosk agents’ day-to-day tasks.
• Perform other related tasks.

What we need

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Kiosk Coordinator, the Lead Kiosk Associatewill be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of Thermea Spa Village Whitby’s temporary kiosks locations for the duration of the holiday season. The incumbent’s main objective is to plan the needs of each location and supply the necessary resources for the kiosk agents responsible for the sale of gift certificates.

What you’ll do

• Train and coach kiosk agents;
• Report back to kiosk coordinator and manager regarding staffing and daily kiosk operations
• Assist with managing unexpected events and emergencies (finding shift coverage etc.)
• Assist in the management of inventories, orders;
• Act as a resource person for kiosk agents (managing complaints and special requests);
• Follow the established scripts to respond to the needs of our guests, in accordance with established standards;
• Identify problems and propose solutions;
• Manage the entire sales cycle; take care of needs and close sales; assisting the kiosk agents in the day-to-day performance of their tasks;
• Perform other related tasks.

Profile needed

• College degree in tourism, hospitality, administration, human resource management or other pertinent experience;
• Experience in customer service or sales, an asset;
• Minimum of one year’s experience in leading a team;
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Available and able to travel quickly between the various kiosk locations;
• Excellent MS Office skills and adept at learning new technologies;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Possess good sense of organization, planning and monitoring, as well as great professional rigor;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

When

• Full-time – 8-week contract - variable hours (days, evenings, weekends and holidays).
• Be available from late October to December 31, 2026

Compensation

• Hourly rate $24.00
