Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate/Photographer to welcome families, engage with children, and capture magical holiday moments on our Santa photo sets.

You’ll provide warm guest service, operate POS and photography equipment, and help ensure a smooth, joyful photo experience from start to finish. Flex scheduling and same-day pay are offered with growth opportunities in our souvenir photography division.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to process sales transactions and handle cash.
• Professional attire and good hygiene are required.
• Available for training and completing required courses.
• Flexible to work during peak retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, or as needed.
• Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do:

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
  • Photography experience not required
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience, making every family feel welcomed, cared for, and part of the magic
• Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively
• Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers
• Operate POS system and photography equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

What We’re Looking For

• At least 16 years of age

• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required
