Grundy Lake Provincial Park is seeking a full-time Park Clerk to provide excellent customer service to visitors and process permits. The role involves office work, cash handling, and light maintenance duties. Candidates must have an Ontario Class 'G' driver’s license and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and is based in a beautiful park environment.
Job Description / Description de l’emploi
· Full time (36.25 hours per week)
· June to October (can be flexible on start and end dates)
· Work under the direction of the Senior Park Clerk and park managers in a busy office environment
· Provide customer service and general information to camping and days use visitors
· Process camping and day use permits using the computerized registration and reservation system (CAMIS)
· Assist in training and leadership of 4 student gate attendants
· Collect park fees, sell merchandise, record all funds received and balance cash
· Light maintenance duties (cleaning office, litter pick up, clean building washrooms)
Req
· Requires proficiency in computer software (ie. Microsoft Office 365, Outlook email, Word, Excel)
· Uniform provided
Experience – Skills / Expérience – compétences
· Must be in possession of an Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license.
· Must be able to work weekends and occasional evening shifts.
