Job summary

Pursuit is hiring for a full-time seasonal role at our Calgary location. The starting wage is $17.00 per hour, with duties focused on guest hospitality and dining service. You will greet guests, seat them, and deliver food and beverages, while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.

Our team emphasizes professionalism, attentiveness to guest needs, and collaboration across departments to ensure memorable experiences at Pursuit attractions and lodges.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and seat them with a high level of professionalism.
• Inform guests of wait times and special events to manage expectations.
• Control seating to maintain service levels at the highest standards.
• Provide an excellent first impression of the restaurant.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Provide professional food and beverage service to all customers.
