Job summary

Sonora Resort is seeking a Dining Room Bartender/Server to join its world-class team at a luxury Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island. This seasonal, on-site role requires shift work from April through October, with a start date as soon as possible.

You will contribute to a fine dining guest experience, craft seasonal cocktails, greet and seat guests, and work with the beverage team to deliver exceptional service in a remote wilderness setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending experience, preferably in a fine dining setting.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate service behaviors per Relais & Chateaux standards.
• Collaborate with beverage team to create seasonal cocktails.
• Greet and seat guests; ensure daily/weekly cleaning tasks meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and stations; know menu items.
• Ensure bar is stocked and ready for service.
• Assist with special events and offsite beverage service.
• Work closely with Dining Room Manager and Sommelier on beverage program.
