Job summary

Webber is seeking a Seasonal Equipment Operator – Standby for Maple – Infrastructure Management. Under supervision, you will maintain contracted assets on roadways, medians, signs and related structures to the contract standards.

The position pays $25-$27 per hour, with availability for overtime evenings, weekends and holidays, and requires a High School Diploma plus at least three years' related experience. Candidates must be able to operate and repair surface and ROW equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ related work in construction or road maintenance.
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal and ice control using snow removal equipment.
• Maintain and repair highways, signs, guardrails, fences, and related surfaces.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair.
• Traffic control setup and removal.
• Transport crew and equipment to worksites.
• Available for emergency rotations including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
