Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to help customers identify needs and select the right products. You will provide recommendations to solve customer problems and enhance the shopping experience.

Role requires strong communication, sales/customer service experience, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends. Training on inventory and promotions will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and team player.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to work days/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Ability to learn and operate the D635 system used to process orders.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset.
• Bilingual – French/English is considered an asset.

• Clarify and understand customers’ needs and take them to the best solution for their projects.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.

• Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Continually learn about products and market conditions.
