Job summary

Gtrworldwide in Regina, Canada, is hiring for hands-on seafood production roles. You will perform processing tasks, ensure product quality and safety, and work closely with the production team following established procedures.

Two positions available. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, work in cold environments, and follow food-safety rules. On-the-job training is provided to help you meet production targets and maintain clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training available.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
• Ability to work in cold, wet or refrigerated environments.
• Basic reading, writing and numeracy to follow instructions and complete records.
• Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures and training.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, grade and inspect fish and seafood for quality and size according to production guidelines.
• Perform manual processing tasks such as cleaning, gutting, de-heading, shelling, trimming or filleting as instructed.
• Operate and monitor basic processing and packaging equipment under supervision, and assist with changeovers.
• Weigh, pack, label and prepare processed product for storage or shipment, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas by washing equipment, surfaces and disposing of waste according to procedures.
• Record production quantities, report quality or safety issues to supervisors, and assist with inventory handling and staging.
